Chanticleer Retreat 2021

The members of Chanticleer enjoyed a Saturday retreat at Camp Calvin, focusing on team building, trying to stay cool despite mother nature and broken air conditioning, and having a lot of fun. We hope you enjoy some photos of the student activities including some great shots of the traditional Senior vs. Underclassmen water balloon battle.

On the Big Screen – One of Our Own

If you are looking for a movie to watch we may have a suggestion.

According to Amazon Prime’s website, the movie Notorious Nick is a movie “based on the inspiring story of Nick Newell, this thrilling underdog tale portrays a mixed martial arts fighter born with a partial left arm and his unstoppable desire to succeed”.

While watching, you may notice a familiar face. SMHS sophomore student and SMHS Choral member, Will Kelly plays the character, Young Nick. For those who are interested, Notorious Nick is available from most video streaming services. Click on this link to view the trailer.

Congratulations to Will on his acting achievement!
